General conditions
Prize Competition events are managed by Hunting Travel Club Limited.
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to participate a Prize Competition events.
By accessing or using the service, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority and ability to enter prize competition events, to comply with all these Terms and Conditions and that you are not prohibited from accessing or participating in the event.
When registering for the event, all participants must send all contact details required by Hunting Travel Club Limited which will be used for the following purposes:
- communicate purchases, numbers assigned for the prize draw
- communicate closure of the event, dates and time of the draw;
- to notify the Winner that they have won the prize;
- to publish the winner’s name and city of residence on the website;
- to comply with the Privacy Policy;
- any other communication inert to prize competition events.
All participants are the only responsible for the correct registration of contact data. Hunting Travel Club Limited won’t, in any way, be responsible for the inability to contact any participant due to errors or inaccuracies in the contact details provided by the participants.
Participants acknowledge that Hunting Travel Club Limited may use contact details and other data, including personal data, to administer the website www.huntingtravelclub.com and conduct the event in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Participation in the event is open to all persons aged 18 and over, excluding shareholders and director of the company, their family, professional consultants or anyone else connected with the development or operation of the Website or conducting the administration of the Contest, in any way and shape.
Prize competition events are organized in compliance with the Gambling Act 2005 of the Government of Great Britain as a “Prize Competition and Free Draw”
As a condition of participating in the event, Participants must ensure that, by doing so, they do not violate the laws of their country of residence.
Hunting Travel Club Limited reserves the right to reject or disqualify participants, if it has reasonable grounds to believe that they have violated any of these terms and conditions or they have acted in a manner that is reasonably considered illegal by Hunting Travel Club Limited.
The maximum number of tickets depends on each single event; each event will indicate the maximum number of available tickets that can be purchased displayed on the relative website page.
To enter a prize competition event via website, Participants must correctly answer the question for access, provide their details by correctly filling the fields of the contact form, select number of tickets, proceed to checkout and enter details of the card payment for the purchase which will be electronically approved.
Each Participant cannot purchase more than 5 (five) tickets per event. Tickets purchased in excess will be considered invalid and refunded.
All prize competition event entries are final and no refunds will be made at any time or for any reason, except in the case of registrations submitted after the closing date or if Hunting Travel Club Limited cancels the competition.
All decisions of Hunting Travel Club Limited made in compliance with these Terms and Conditions are final.
It won’t be possible to obtain the cash equivalent of the prize and the prize cannot be sold to others or modified.
It is possible to participate in the event by post, sending a letter to Hunting Travel Club Limited specifying which event you wish to participate in, the correct answer to the question for access to the event, data of the participant as Name and Surname, date of birth, full address and postcode, email address, telephone number; copy of the valid identification document (passport/drive licence), print and state that you accept the terms and conditions and our privacy policy. All of it must be sent to Hunting Travel Club Limited, 2 Allanbank Gardens, TD26AB, Lauder, Scotland. Postal entries are limited to one per household per competition. You must not complete any other entry for any other person as this will result in a ban on all future entries by any method; each letter is valid to entry one free ticket for the relative competition. All letters must be submitted in the English language. Entries in languages other than English will automatically be disqualified. The participant must, in any case, have an account on the website www.huntingtravelclub.com. Letters must be received by the Monday preceding the closing date of the competition. Letters with incomplete information, incorrect answer, missing/invalid documents o received after the Monday preceding the draw day won’t be considered valid.
We are under no obligation to correspond regarding postal entries and will not do so.
Hunting Travel Club will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are not successfully completed, are lost or are delayed regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal delays, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
Closing of the event, assignment of drawing numbers, awarding of prizes
The date of the draw for each Prize Competition event is displayed on the relative web site page of the event.
The closing date to purchase a draw ticket is exactly 24 hours before the date of the draw.
Hunting Travel Club Limited reserves the right at its sole discretion to extend the closing date of any competition, if for any reason any aspect of the competition is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of Hunting travel Club, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition.
For prizes that have a specific use date, the date of the draw cannot be extended later than 30 days before the date of the prize.
For all entries, the draw number between 1 and the maximum range for that competition, is randomly assigned by Hunting Travel Club Limited and communicated with a confirmation email.
A complete list in alphabetical order of participant’s name, surname and draw numbers is communicate within 6 hours before the date / time of the draw. In the event that a single person purchases multiple tickets, the name and surname is repeated with relative draw numbers.
Hunting Travel Club Limited may close prize competition events with unsold tickets. If the proceeds are deemed, at the sole discretion of Hunting Travel Club Limited, sufficient to award the prize, the draw will proceed as per the regulations. If the proceeds obtained from the partial sale of the tickets are deemed not sufficient for the award of the prize up for grabs, 50% of the proceeds, net of any marketing expenses and commissions, are awarded as a cash prize to a winner.
Hunting Travel Club Limited has the right to withhold the other 50% of the proceeds to cover administrative costs. The remaining balance after the 50% deduction plus expenses (marketing, payment solutions, legal fees, website hosting) is “the prize”. The Prize will then be offered to the winning Participant.
If the Winner cannot be contacted by Hunting Travel Club Limited within 7 (seven) days of notification of their Winner status by email, phone, Facebook or post, via the contact details provided with their membership, Hunting Travel Club Limited reserves the right to select an alternative winner, using the same system, after 7 (seven) days have elapsed.
The new winning participant then has 7 (seven) days to accept the prize by following the same contact routes as the original winner. The original winner will not be eligible for the prize after the alternate winner has been selected.
Hunting Travel Club Limited reserves the right to cancel the event at any time before or after the sale of the tickets. If the event is cancelled, Hunting Travel Club Limited will return the cost of the ticket paid to each Participant, net of the service fee, (by refund by credit card or check and in a single combined payment in the event that multiple tickets have been paid for by a single competitor). In the event of a refund of the cost of the ticket, Hunting Travel Club Limited will have no further liability towards the Participant or any other person.
How to select the winner, enjoyment of the prize
There is only one winner per event unless otherwise specified.
The winning participant is selected using Google Random Numbers Generator live on Facebook at the Hunting Travel Club page, https://www.facebook.com/huntingtravelclub.
Hunting Travel Club will assign to Google Random Numbers Generator the exact number range for that competition, then selecting the button “generate”, it will be the winner.
In the event of an incorrect range being entered in the live draw, it will be repeated and the person who had paid to enter with that number but could not have won will receive a refund.
In the event of the number generated into the exact number range for that competition, does not belong to any of the participants, a subsequent number will be generated until it will match a participant.
If the event is completed and the Prize is issued successfully, the winner must provide, within 2 (two) weeks of the draw, the documents necessary for the enjoyment of the prize. The winner is responsible for the validity of all required documents and Hunting Travel Club Limited will have no responsibility for the winner’s personal inability to provide such documents and / or the winner’s inability to enjoy the prize.
Hunting Travel Club Limited does not accept any prize evaluation, the prize will only be the one awarded at the time of the draw, no alternative will be offered under any circumstances.
The prize is described in detail on the website www.huntingtravelclub.com and it cannot be changed. The enjoyment of the prize is the sole responsibility of the winner; Hunting Travel Club Limited does not accept any changes to the prize.
The winner will be required to provide an identity document and proof of participation in the event upon collection of the prize.
Winner agrees to allow Hunting Travel Club Limited to display their name on the website in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. The Winner’s name will be published on the Website for the purpose of announcing the Winner of the Contest.
Winner further agrees that photos and / or videos may be taken for promotional purposes, either directly after winning or during the enjoyment of the prize in any future promotional material.
Participants authorize Hunting Travel Club Limited to enter their personal data into their database and use the information in accordance with the Privacy Policy “Data Protection Act 2018” as required by UK legislation and in line with the privacy policy pursuant to of the art. 13 of Regulation (EU) no. 679/2016 (“GDPR”).
Participants’ personal data will not be disclosed to third parties.
Conclusions
Hunting Travel Club Limited is not responsible for any loss (including economic loss) suffered or incurred by any person or company as a result of any act or omission of Hunting Travel Club Limited, nor their employees or agents in developing, planning and administering the event, distribute the Prize to the Winner or follow the distribution of the Prize.
Hunting Travel Club Limited assumes no responsibility for any errors or omissions contained in the details, description or specifications of the prize or in any other part of the website. It is the responsibility of each Entrant (and in particular the Winner) to satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of such details and / or any content on this website.
Hunting Travel Club Limited will not be liable for any losses suffered by a Participant as a result of incomplete registrations or unsuccessful computer communications or for any losses suffered as a result of using the Website.
Hunting Travel Club Limited takes no responsibility for members who are not notified due to computer system failures, other malfunctions, high Internet traffic, hardware failures, software failures, server failures or any other reason.
